McMahan, Charles Vachel

Charles Vachel McMahan, 39, of New Matamoras, OH passed away as the result of an automobile accident on December 17, 2016.

He was born in Marietta, OH, son of Charles Deshler and Dianna Virginia Weeter McMahan. Charles was a paramedic at Tri-State Ambulance Service in Moundsville, WV. He graduated from Frontier High School in 1995 and was a member of the band.

He is survived by a brother, Wynn Hott of New Matamoras; a daughter, Emily Dianna McMahan of Raleigh, NC; girlfriend, Lorrie Saboley and her daughter, Meredith, both of Marietta; three uncles, Richard McMahan (Mary), Michael T. McMahan (Barbara) and David Cochran; one aunt, Susan McMahan and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Frederick Ellis Hott
